On behalf of our client, a leading water bottling company in Tanzania, we are urgently recruiting an experienced Quality Assurance Manager. The ideal candidate must be immediately available and hold a valid passport. This critical role will ensure that all products meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement across the plant. Report to Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all bottled water meets Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) and TFDA regulations.

• Oversee ISO 22000 / HACCP quality systems and drive continuous improvement.

• Supervise lab testing for microbiological, chemical, and physical compliance.

• Lead quality checks across the full production cycle — from source to shelf.

• Manage internal & external audits and ensure certification compliance.

• Train and guide QA/QC teams to maintain world-class standards.

• Investigate and resolve quality issues & customer complaints quickly.

• Maintain accurate records and reports for management and regulators.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related discipline (Master’s degree will be an added advantage).

• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.

• Proven background in the water industry — this experience is essential.

• In-depth knowledge of ISO 22000 and other applicable quality management systems.

• Practical expertise in laboratory testing, analysis, and regulatory compliance.

• Track record of designing, implementing, and monitoring effective QA processes and procedures.

• Strong leadership abilities, with excellent reporting and communication skills

NET SALARY

3000 USD – 3500 USD per month dependent on experience and qualification
